Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick #130 Review

These days, I am missing my college life a lot. The reason behind is that I have not seen a movie since a long time. Last year, we used to go every Friday, but now nobody has the time. Anyway, coming to today’s review, its about a lip color from Lakme. The “Enrich Satin” from Lakme was a big hit when it was launched. The reason behind it was the pocket friendly price and the variety of shades available.

Frankly speaking, I did not like its packaging at all. It is quite simple with a plastic maroon outer body and a golden covered bullet holder. The bullet has the brand name inscribed on it, which I find to be impressive. Written at the bottom is the shade number.

My Take on Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick #130:
As I mentioned in my last post, that I love collecting lip colors by broadening my horizon of shade selection. So, not just pinks and reds, I like dark shades too. This shade number 130 is a mixture of brown and maroon. You can say it is plum or berry red shade. The texture is very soft and creamy which makes its application very easy. It glides well on the lips without any resistance. It is not a matte shade, rather it gives a glossy finish to the lips, but a single stroke is not enough to bring out the colour. You need 2-3 gentle swipes for complete coverage. This works well on pigmented lips.
Talking of the staying power, it is quite low as compared to other lip colours. It is transferable to some extent while sipping water through glass, but overall, the look it provides to the lips is worth a praise, would suit the Indian skin tones really well. But while applying it, please keep two things in mind i.e. please moisturize your lips before so that if you have chapped lips, they don’t show baldy through the lip color and secondly, preferably apply a lip liner. Follow the two rules and you are ready to wear this lip shade, and get a bold pout look. Lastly, these kind of dark shades make your teeth look really pretty when you laugh 
What I Like about Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick #130:
- Affordable.
- Easily available at Lakme counters.
- Glossy shine.
- Keeps my lips moisturized.
- It is one of the best shades for office-going ladies.
What I Do Not Like about Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick #130:
- Transferable to the glasses or cups.
- Staying power is not too good.
- Since it is a dark shade, teenagers won’t like it and cannot carry it for regular wear.
- The bullet is super soft and has a tendency to break if it falls down.
- No shade guide in the bullet, only the number has been mentioned, so it becomes difficult to recognize and you need to open up the cap and see the shade.
Would I Recommend Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick #130?
I know that not many of us like such darker hues but to have them in the kitty for once in a while use, you can surely opt for this one.
